How old were you when you met your husband/wife?

I was 25.

How long did you know each other before "the question" was popped?

We made the relationship "official" (i.e. began courting, seriously) on September 1, 2005 after having known each other for almost a year. We got engaged the following February though I don't have any idea of the date.

How long was the engagement?[/B]

The engagement was really just a formality and a chance to give our families time to adjust to the idea. We were married about seven months after we got engaged. Our civil wedding date was September 1, 2006 because I would never have remembered the date otherwise.
