I agree with you Wendy!
Change is hard and scares alot of members, but in the end you either move with the times or get left behind...I think it is as easy as that. I'm not sure if it is the fact that they think their traditions will be taken away or that alum's mark/legacy will not be as highly thought of b/c now they couldn't follow in the same footsteps...to me we need a little hard work and it will be fine.
Many members that are rasied in the new system feel the same as Wendy, in fact I find more now that think as she does and less members feel it is ridiculous that they now think on a more responsibile level. This also varies from campus to campus....for many schools these "new" regualtions have been a part of the Greek System since the start and there is no change.
