I agree -- she should definitely be speaking to members of that organization. A lot of undergrads will twist the definition for rush, though (if she's interested in one of the organizations I'm thinking of).
When talking to a Latino/a:
"Yes, we're one of the largest Latino organizations in the US!"
When talking to everyone else:
"Yes, we're a large multicultural organization *cough*foundedbylatinos*cough*!"
