There's a feral cat colony in my mother's neighborhood, and when she found one unconscious at her door, she started feeding them. That was 2-3 years ago. Here are the requested kitteh pictures:

This is Kaboodle (his twin, Kit, died). He's very territorial, so now the cats have to be fed from separate dishes!

This is Lilac, a lilac point Siamese with a temper. We were able to get her neutered, and after resting in the house for a week, she decided to stay there - but wanted none of our business! Sadly, she decided to go outside last April and was killed that night by raccoons:

This is Callie, one of Lilac's kittens. She's still around, and has a little "thing" going with my dog. It's a bad picture, because Callie is the most beautiful calico cat I've ever seen. She weighs about 4 pounds - tiny! - and I really wish I could figure how to get her to my neighborhood so my dog doesn't pine for her. She's been neutered, too.

This is Travis, Lilac's other kitten. He's neutered, and has been adopted by friends of my brother. I should mention, each of these cats are at least a quarter Siamese, and have a problem with their jaw. Travis' new owners had all of his teeth pulled, but the others seem to manage:

This is Luke, my absolute favorite. Luke was originally Lucy, until he bathed in front of us! He was our first Trap -Neuter-Release kitten, and because he had pink eye, we had to isolate him in the garage. When he heard the door open, he would start purring! Even when I put drops in his eyes, and gave him medication, he'd purr, but put a little pink tip of his tongue out to show that he wasn't entirely happy. Luke is definite proof that the Stockholm Syndrome works! He was adopted by a woman who had 5 other cats, and within a week, Luke was sleeping in bed with his new mama! He's from the same litter as Kit and Kaboodle:

Another picture of Luke, looking pensive:

I'll put pictures of my puppy another time - he was Mr. December on a 2007 Bichon Frise calendar! 33girl can attest to his cuteness, as he was at my mother's viewing & funeral. As you can tell, we love animals, and belong to THE Bichon Frise Rescue group. Here is a segment about it - none of these dogs are mine!
