God IS good, isn't He, Soror??? You are right on point. The important things are love, peace, joy, happiness. Anyone could have MATERIAL things, but if you have none of the attributes stated, then what? I think about this EVERY day. No, I'm not filthy rich with money and material things. But (ONLY through the grace and mercy of God), Girl, I KNOW where I come from and how FAR I've come. I have a husband who loves me unconditionally... he's my best friend.. the love of my life. I have two loving and healthly children who love me unconditionally as well. I have an OUTSTANDING mother who is ALWAYS ready to go the extra mile for me. I have lots of other people in my life who have been there for me. And MOST importantly, I've got JESUS himself right here by my side!!!

I think that as we grow older, our perceptions change. It's like one day after thirty (or maybe even a little before) you all of a sudden have this "AHA!!" moment. What you THOUGHT was important suddenly isn't important anymore. It's truly a DEFINING and POSITIVE life-changing moment.

I'm thanking God right now that you were able to walk away from your accident. I'm also thanking Him for giving you even MORE insight into the TRUE purpose of life.

GOD BLESS YOU SOROR!!!
