I went to my 10 year as well almost 2 years ago. I was on the planning committee so it was cool to hook up with old friends that I hadn’t seen. I only kept in contact with one person since graduation so it was a miracle (and classmate.com) that they found me to help plan. You know a sista was on several diets and working out like a robot... and made it to my desired weight.
Hair was done… outfit was tight… hubby was looking cute. And to be honest, although we won the cutest couple for the night.. and yeah, we had superlatives… everyone had a lot of fun. I’ve remained in contact with several people and we’re looking forward to the next one... for year 15 soon. In terms of reflecting, I did that mostly afterwards. I had placed so much emphasis on “looking good” that I almost missed what was most important. I came a long way since high school and was (and still am) blessed.
