PREFACE: I am asking for informational purposes only, please take this question in the inquiring light in which it is framed.

There seems to be no consensus on when to and when not wear our letters. Where alcohol will be served or not? And, yes, I have consulted all of the the books. Even old school/seasoned sorors disagree. I was at a Greek function where alcohol was served, and people were in letters; I was at a public place where alcohol was served and had an LS told to take her letters off. Where is this information, sorors?
