Like others have said, gentrification can be both good and bad, but let's not kid ourselves -- "crack houses" aren't the only places being torn down. Sometimes, areas that aren't desirable to a certain demographic are the ones being flipped. Sure, the areas may look nicer, but there is often history and tradition that's lost in the process.
