I wouldn't mind not seeing any more one-hit-wonder guests (Gabbie Siddibe, Taylor Lautner), politicians without a sense of humor (John McCain), musicians who try to act but fail (Jennifer Lopez), actors who only play one type of role (Kate Hudson), people who can't read cue cards (Michael Phelps), or people without comedic timing (Michael Phelps lol). You don't have to be a comic genius, but the ability to deliver one-liners and stay in character is important for this venue.

I wouldn't mind seeing more of the older, experienced live-show performers, like Carol Burnett or Goldie Hawn host a show, or successful broadway/stage performers, who often have played many different types of roles; Kristen Chenoweth comes to mind. Some of the funnier hosts have been actors with Broadway/stage history, such as Christopher Walken and Hugh Laurie.

Sorry for the hijack - I'd love to be a fly on the writers' room wall to suggest hosts and pitch ideas. I feel like my life is often a sketch comedy; some of the stuff you just can't make up!
I'd say that this episode was super funny with Betty White and that it is something everyone can agree on: Betty White is awesome. I can't think of one person who could really say anything bad about her. When she did the "scared straight" skit, did you see how when she poked the one guy in the skit and got in his face, he tried so hard not to laugh. You could tell he wanted to burst into laughter.

For those of you that love/ like SNL, have you ever seen Will Ferrell's (sp?) videos with his cute little girl, Pearl? There is one where she plays the landlord and another where she is playing a cop. If you want to see it, I can post the links. It will make you laugh....
