OR the girls will go to parties the first few nights of school, meet various sorority women and think "the girls in XYZ are So Cool! I want to be in their house!" Unfortunately, I can definitely see that happening, too.
I don't know the best way to "fix" the system at Iowa. But it's definitely not ideal, and hasn't been for a while.
