So, I'm at the mall downtown today, sitting on a bench eating my Hagen Daz when I hear "I have to stop and say hello to my soRHOr.." I looked up and a woman came over to me with a big ole' grin on her face. "Hello soRHOr" she said. My response "Hello soRHOr" and we hugged. She said " "I crossed Beta Psi in 96...." I said "I crossed Beta Psi fall of 2001". Ok, that's when we both pretty much lost it. She said (in the direction of her family members) "This is my NEO!
" Turns out, after she graduated, she moved out of state and was in town for a few days. I was so excited because this was my first "out of chapter" experience. So we chatted for a few minutes, exchanged info, hugged again, and then went on our seperate ways.
