Ditto to whatever looks best and works for the weather. You want to look polished. Generally, this means wearing it down or half back. If you do wear it up, (which may still be a no-no for some schools---any K-Staters chime in as to the appropriateness for Damsel), make sure it looks deliberately styled that way; neat, not messy, with a nice accessory like a headband or silk flower. Don't just "throw it in a ponytail".
