I guess they think if they have money they have the right to be bigots.
Like Raggedy Ann, I had a patient once in my General Surgery clinic who didn't want me to examine him for an inguinal hernia because I was female. There were actually no males in clinic that day so I let him peak out the door and pick which of the female residents he'd rather have examine him. Once he finally got the idea that he didn't have a choice in the matter, I let him know that he had to have a rectal exam, too!
Stupid him...he didn't know how lucky he was. Women have much smaller fingers!
