Que authors biography of AKA Pioneer.

In the spirit of Black Greekdom, the following link is an interview with Bro. Rohulamin Quander (made in Alpha Chapter, Howard Univ.), who authored a book on the role Nellie Quander, a relative of his, played in the establishment of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Bro. Quander, an administrative law judge in D.C., is penning the history of the Third District of Omega Psi Phi, which is comprised of Virginia and the District of Columbia.

On a more personal note I am reminded of an incident thirty years ago when I was a Lamp and an elder Que (made at Rho Chapter in the '60s (Johnson C. Smith) brought his wife, an AKA, to see us scared, sweaty college pledgees at one of our sessions. He introduced us to her as a "sweet AKA," with the utmost respect shown to her; and we greeted her as a line. That made an impression on me. And one of my LBs girlfriend was an AKA. He loved her so much he tranferred from our university to hers the semester after we pledged. They've been married for over 25 years now, and they have great kids.
