The worst job that I ever had was working at Woolworth. I got paid $4.75 an hour for the worst manager around ( it could have been b/c he was a manager at Woolworth.) Anyway, he was form the islands but he played country music on the intercom ALL THE TIME!!!!! He constantly yelled at the employees, especially in front of the customers to the point the customers would shake their head. He yelled at me once b/c I punched the wrong numbers in the regester ( it was manual) and I didn't figure it out the differnce quick enough. He yelled at me and then told me to move out the way so he could do it. And I swear if all the girls go together we could file for sexual harrassment b/c he would massage thier shoulders and rub thier backs and ask for hugs. I wasn't trying to hear that!
you are not my pappy!! my job lasted for 2 1/2 wks. I was happy when he fired me. He claimed my productivity went down. We got,during rush hour, a whopping 15 customers prob. a total of 30/day, and I guess if my boss is constantly yelling at me morale would go down.
