You need to unplug yourself from the matrix ASAP.
You are focusing on the most superficial aspects of Greek life. You say you're an alum -- it's time to start acting like one. Step back, focus on refining your values, and let whatever happens, happen.
If you are for real, then imagine 25 years from now your own son having this exact conversation with you. I would hope that you'd instill the type of values in him where he focuses on the people, not the institutions.
