Sigma1844, I'm bringing this up not to thrash the Michigan Chapter, but to highlight the truth behind the lies of LCAP, and the fate of the MSU chapter.

Michigan FY’05 Action Plan
Fall 2004 Progress Report:
With the closing of the Sigma Chi chapter, the Sigma Phi Epsilon group balked at our
lease extension offer which left the house with no tenants for fall 2004 and reluctantly the
local Lambda Chi Alpha chapter was allowed occupancy amongst pressure from key
alumni. Staff conducted an extensive 4 day recruitment visit last spring semester teaching
and training the chapter on up to date recruitment efforts and helping them conduct
numerous recruitment efforts; resulting in 3 new members. The fall brought 12 tenants
and a small remodel to the interior of the house. Staff facilitated another huge recruitment
effort this fall which yielded little to no gain in membership. The chapter itself recruited 5
new members and two weeks of staff assisted recruitment brought in only one more new
member for a fall total of 6. The group needs substantial help in learning how to recruit
and retain members as well as how to strengthen overall chapter operations. The Greek
system has recently been plagued with hazing incidents and alcohol violations that have
left the student body and the administration questioning the Greek systems future. Staff
plans on conducting another recruitment and chapter operational visit this fall and spring
to help insure accountability and follow-up with recruitment efforts. Expectations are that
the chapter fills at least 20 of 30 spots in the house next year.
