My dad was dead convinced that all this (his parents and grandparents names, occupations, etc) was supposed to be on the census. I filled it out (after watching parts 1 and 2 that correspond with the above link) and he took it from me, convinced I'd done it wrong because there's no way I should've been done after 5 minutes. He kept it for 3 days while he called around asking for "the other parts of the census that were missing."
Finally, he realized I was right, that's all there was to it.
