For much of the '80s, I attended a Catholic school, so fashion wasn't exactly an issue. Let's see... I could wear a pinafore, or a pinafore.

(For the record, pinafores are not comfortable when they're made out of wool, it's 90 degrees out, and your school's air conditioning system consists of opening a window and praying for a cool breeze.

) the "in" thing was oversized sweatshirts, leggings, Keds, and, of course, the Swatch, with the obligatory Swatch guard.
