What I really don't understand here is why the police department felt it necessary to report Newsome's marital status to the Air Force. I can see how it might be relevant to the police department and their investigation, but other than spite, I don't see why it was necessary to inform the Air Force about the marriage.
Did I miss something or is the Rapid City PD harboring some serious jerks?
