It seems that in NY if your from upstate you say Pop (Im just use to this so I gotta agree with it), and downstate (the city) says Soda. Just like they have the accents and we really dont

UM,
I have to disagree with you on this one. I think it depends on where you are. I'm also in upstate ny and we use the word as opposed to pop.
