I'm about to start "Keeping Faith" and the book cover mentions "custody battle" so I'm sure there are court trails in there. "The Pact" and "Mercy" had a trials too, now that I think about it.
ETA: I had no idea "The Pact" had been made into a movie! That was one of my fave books, I hope the movie's good!
