Firstly, I agree with what all my lovely Sorors stated, always--first and foremost... It has something to do about a sisterly vow I made when I entered into AKA-dom as I lift up my light to an eternal flame. And even when the "Wall" ceremony is done for me, I know I have lived my days...
NOW, ONLY MY SORORS WOULD COMPREHEND THE MEANING OF MY STATEMENTS!!!
A perpatrator would know very little about that... EVEN if that perp dropped line, failed MIP or neglected the chartering process!!!
Sorors, just always remember what is ritualistically important to us... Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was founded on principles that go beyond what is printed, everywhere. There are WAYS to detect falsehoods without skrait up challenging or password decoding... Those ways go to KNOWING YOUR DOCUMENTS and understanding the full meaning of ALL our Rituals--It takes having several degrees when we try to reach an Epiphany...
For Serioussss interests only:
Your trust should start AFTER RUSH if you are an undergraduate... Your self-interested studying should have started long before...
Your faith should be renewed when an official letter is received INVITING you to join, especially if you have graduated. Your research should be much like as if God has sent an from Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Angel to become a guardian in your life, as if it happened out of nowhere... And you are sheerly blessed...
Because really, ALL my Graduate Sorors practice some forms of faith and they are known to request that you to come and visit at their churches, synagogues, temples and mosques--if not for worship--definitely to any huge functions--like a fish fry...
And if you ain't meeting groups of us then, outside of stepping and partywalking, then you should use your discretion and be safe.
Moreover, how are you trying to do this endeavor on your OWN??? I would be NETWORKING if it were me... Find out who a fellow sisterfriend is, y'all should be going to ONE of the Grad Chapter FUNCTIONS!!! If not MLK parade, where you'd see all of us, then make it another programmatic function outside of church... Even if it costs $50+ for a tix...
Meeting my Sorors at a stepshow has become rather infantile, don't you think?
Remember when I was a child, I spake as a child and I did childish things... But when I became a (wo)man, I put childish things away...
I like to believe that my Sorority is far from being labeled as childish when dealing and outwitting simple-minded fraudulent people... Oh well...
