Also, who's to say that the members of predominately white teams/organizations did not make the same argument about "us" when we broke into their respective groups (i.e. golf, basketball, country music, Indiana University  )? What this means to me, is that other groups have taken note to what we have done, and they are compelled to not only learn, but perfect the craft. "Imitation is the highest form of flattery".Guarantee next year's shows will be MUCH better from all organizations involved.

First, "Imitation is NOT the sincerest form of flattery." I wish people would stop with that lie. I guess it makes folks feel better about being copied and used.

Second, this analogy is becoming overused and quite frankly isn't a good one. And last, they do not perfect what we do and if you know history, you know that they take, use, and then take credit for. Don't let me get into examples. I shouldn't have to.
