I would like to add that in some areas it is "tricky" or "iffy" that a sister can transfer and just become a sister at the new school. I know that there have been numerous situations in the past where ladies will go to a less desired college/university (less competitive recruitment etc.) and pledge there with plans to transfer to a university in which the sorority is a top group. It was just common knowledge young women were doing this and I know sitatutions where the chapters had to put the clamps on.
