I was too tired to type last night lol

Okay so after reading these, my roommates may not be the absolute absolute worst in the world, but they're still pretty bad.

I live in a 4 bed/4 bath apt. on campus.
My school's housing dept. offers a complementary roommate matching service, at which they completely fail.
I will refer to my roommates as A, B, and C, because those are the rooms they live in. I live in D.
Okay.
I moved in early, about 2 weeks before school started. My room had already been cleaned bc whoever lived there before moved out before the semester ended. The common rooms (kitchen, living, dining) were absolutely disgusting. I was horrified. It looked as if a football team lived there. Turns out it was four girls, which is just nasty.
The day after I moved in, roomie B moved in. I had friend requested her on FB and thought she was a little, shall we say, eccentric, but that didn't bother me too much, and I found out that she listens to Mindless Self Indulgence which is one of my favorite bands and none of my friends had ever heard of them.
As she's moving in, I walk in the apartment and introduce myself to her, and the first thing she says is "Hey I was looking through that stuff in the living room and I found empty bottles of bourbon and handcuffs. I'm totally keeping the handcuffs!!!"
And I'm like, I KNOW this heifer did not go through that disgusting trash on the floor and is keeping some infected handcuffs she found!!
GROSS!!
And then I got to meet the wonderful boyfriend. Because he is just so much fun. Cue him moving in with us.
Then actual move in day comes around and A and C move in. Well, turns out that my three roommates are all friends with each other, are all definitely not my cup of tea, and are all juniors. I am a transfer sophomore and I didn't know anyone at my school. There is a small female population (we're the only girls on our entire floor) and all I could think about was that I'm not going to have any friends here bc apparently all the girls are like these three. haha.
RM A also had a boyfriend, who also moved in with us within a couple of days. So here I am living with 5 other ppl, I don't like any of them, and I am just miserable.
Thank the Lord for me being an Arch major and being in studio all the time and not having to be around those people.
Then recruitment season comes around, and I decide to rush.
That's when I found out that all of my roommates were hugely anti Greek, RM B particularly bc her boyfriend rushed and didn't get a bid.
I don't blame any of the fraternities.
And that's when I was pretty much harassed constantly. Whenever I came home from a recruitment event they would try to talk me out of rushing, trash talked every sorority woman they knew, told me I was gonna be a slut, and were just discouraging all around.
Nevermind that I'm already under enough stress from studio and rush.
Nevermind that I hardly even know these bitches.
Meanwhile, their true living habits started to show, and after a while the common areas looked the way they did when I first moved in. They were living in absolute filth, and would have company over and just SIT IN IT.
Fucking nasty.
We live on the second floor, and still managed to attract bugs from food left out.
The minute I saw them I moved everything I owned except refrigerated food into my room.
There would be saucepans on the coffee tables and dishes on the balcony just from where they had run out of places to eat and put stuff in the kitchen, crap all over the floors and trash EVERYWHERE.
I can honestly say that I contributed nothing to these messes, because I was either in studio or in my bedroom.
Since RM's A and B are vegans, they cook daily, and cook some pretty weird crap.
One of their favorite dishes smells like musty armpits when cooked.
It gets cooked a lot.
And the scent pervades EVERYTHING. I've never had to buy so much air freshener in my life!
One day I left my keys at studio, so I had to call housing to come unlock my doors for me. Our whole apartment smelled like body odor thanks to this wonderful dish of theirs. The housing lady's face scrunched up as soon as she walked in, and she left as soon as possible. I was SO embarrassed, because I'm sure that everytime she sees me she'll be like, oh that's the girl who lives in the musty apartment.
Anyway so I get increasingly fed up with each passing day, so I'm venting to some of my sisters about my roommate issues. Turns out one of them was RM B's RA last year, and has had to go through the same things with her. And apparently she ran for a Student Gov position last year, and was shot down by the Greek community, which kinda explains her hostility.
Let's jump to November, the weekend after Thanksgiving break.
It obviously isn't enough that I have to live with the dirties people in all of Marietta, listen to them have sex constantly, hear them rant and rave about Christians, put up with all their friends and boyfriends and random people they bring home trying to break into my room, listen to racist comments and people waking me up and them running up our electric bill every month, I also have to put up with a randomly adopted dog.
Now I love dogs, and this one was adorable, but he is HUGE and has no business trying to live in our small apartment. He tool up like every inch of available space, and it was just awful. On top of all that the guys across the hall from us found out about the dog, told our RA's, who in turn told Housing and they charged every resident $200 a day that he was there. HELL NO. Apparently no one knew that Housing knew the dog was there, I sure didn't, so we got charged everyday up until the new semester when RM A finally put him up a some guy's house. Thankfully Housing took the charge of my account.
From then on it's been all the same ish and it's only growing worse.
And when I got home today, there were unattractive naked freaks running around everywhere.
yep.
I cannot wait until our house is finished and I move in there with my sisters. I would rather move back home than to ever be forced to live with people I don't know. I will never ever again live with random people bc of my experiences with them.
