if you use a rush video, the alums. would probably enjoy viewing that and hearing a recap of your year. a quick ice breaker also might be fun. be sure to have the collegiate sisters interact with the alums. have them treat this like a recruitment event and rush, rush, rush these ladies.

is there no money in your budget to treat the alums? of course, if you are expecting a lot of alums, that is probably out of the questions.

i feel that $20 is a bit steep. could you ask collegiate sisters to join forces and bring salads, desserts, drinks, paper goods, etc.? or ask the alums. to bring the desserts and you all supply everything else.

is the gift for the graduating seniors or the alums? if for the alums. i can promise that they are not expecting a gift. if for the seniors, that should be in your budget or the alum. chapter might be doing something.

please be sure to give the alums plenty of notice of the event. one month would be ideal-if that time frame has already passed, you need to notify them asap. the biggest complaint i hear from fellow alums. is that the collegians do not notify them with enough advance notice.
