Shoot, I have met several of those guys in real life. I have one now.
They take your number and for some reason they don't want to go on a date, but they don't want to leave you the hell alone either. This is not a phenomenon that is relegated to the internet. I sometimes think that all of these advances in modes of communication have crippled folks' abilities to establish real intimacy.
