Somewhere there was a thread that discussed UT rush...I remember posting something about an article I saved from the seventies about it. I thought Arkansas and Auburn had hard rushes, but Texas (and maybe Georgia and LSU) must be the worst!
It used to be that you had to have individual invitations from each sorority there to even get into the first parties.
Seems like people from smaller towns or those who just didn't know any Greeks would get overlooked that way.
