Hello! Just wanted to let you know that at my campus we hung out with non-greeks, greeks of other groups, and my own sisters. There was no pressure to stay within the org. Also on my campus a letter of introduction was a letter written by the person going through rush to introduce her to the chapters on campus. This didnt guarentee you a bid but it did look really good that you put the effort to give as much info about yourself as possible. Recs or what we called RIF's (Rush Information Forms) were done by Alum or other members of our group who had information about you. This would have to be done by each group though!
Is your mother greek?
I am not sure yet if my org has a chapter on your campus. I havent looked yet , but good luck in whatever you choose to do!
