Thanks everyone.
When I was a division officer, I dreaded the possibility of one of my chapters getting itself into this kind of situation -- there's just no way for advisors, consultants and others to know what happens at every meeting and event. It's a scary thing.
As for the chapter, I've gone on enough about that. I do hope the Housing Corporation can find a way to retain ownership of the house, but that's probably a stretch.
I do appreciate the support. Time now to fade gracefully back into the woodwork.
