stick with it! speaking from experience, I almost did what your roommate did (well actually not almost, I DID do it but then quickly undid it) and I have found a group that I already see as my home after just a few short days, one I never thought I would love. And despite the stereotypes, everybody who sees my letters tells me how much they love so-and-so who is also in my chapter. The system most often works
