I think the allegations are probably well-founded. His isn't the only organization that has had troubles of some kind. Even orgs like the Red Cross have not gone without issues.
In times like this, we don't want to tear down those who claim they want to help. However, "a donation isn't a donation." There are items donated that central agencies advise against donating, and there are donation agencies that may not be trustworthy. |
i heard about red cross too, but i haven't found anything to support it yet. it isn't about tearing orgs down, but if an organization is having issues like this i'd want to know.
