It Also seems to have a great equine management/ science program. And yes I read about alpha phi! That's exciting!

And that's great about the philanthropys, I just can hope to rush an involved sorority with a good sisterhood because that's what it's about right ? : )

I was just nervous that as a sophmore, I would maybe only get invited back to one house IF THAT and that the house might not even be a good fit for my personality or have anything in common or connect.

What do you reccomend going through rush- good gpa, recs, positive attitude ect? Also I know at some Sec schools it's hurts a pnm if there not from the In state is this true?
Most going through recruitment at UK will be from Kentucky, but there will be a good number from out of state so that in itself shouldnt be an issue. You need all of those things to go through recruitment -good grades, recommendations, positive attitude, conversation skills, presenting yourself well, leadership skills/positions, activities, and participation in community service activities. Athletic and musical abilities can be a plus too. I also cannot stress the importance of being yourself. Being yourself lets your true personality shine through to the chapters which in turn helps with finding your best fit.

All of the sororities at UK are involved in their own philanthropies as well as participate in others with great sisterhoods. Sisterhood too is what you make it. Dont forget it is a two way street.
