We were each given one my freshman year. They just had our ID picture. We only had about 420 freshmen, which was actually a big class
Anyway, they are good for looking to see if there's anyone from the same area as you, or something like that. We used them during rush my sophomore year. They weren't out in time last year. It's good during rush to put a face with a name, especially during voting time.
