In real life, my presuppositions kick in ALL THE TIME. But I consciously try to suppress those thoughts and get to know people. That switch in my mind has become second nature now that I've been doing it for a while, so I get a blip of a thought and then I ignore it. My most challenging bias is against whites which is nonsensical and foolish, but it's where I am right now.
Now...after I've
gotten to know someone, I might just not click with them. For one, I can't stand to be around insecure people. I get to a point where I'm literally disgusted with them and have to continuously remind myself that they are where they are in their lives and they've had completely different experiences than I have.
On Greek Chat...it's different. Y'all are mostly just screen names in oblivion. Half of y'all could just be smart computers and not human beings for all I know.
