The more I watch it though I'm thinking that some of them are savvier than most believe, to the point they used MTV to get exposure. The three I see the most are Mike "The Situation" Snooki an Pauly D, and perhaps they exaggerated their guido/guida personas to get on the show and take it from there. Those three are constantly on shows and clips where they are openly the butt of the joke and it doesn't appear that it is going to stop any time soon. Mike could definitely benefit from exposure as a trainer and get people into his gym, Pauly D is a DJ and may garner more interest, and Snooki the vet tech, not sure what her angle is.
