I've never stood anyone up, but I was stood up once. A friend of mine had a sweet 16 where you could bring a +1 (I know, that's very strange!) and it was made clear that most people were bringing dates. I wasn't seeing anyone and my guy friends were all busy, so my best friend set me up on a blind date with a friend of hers from her youth group. He never showed so I was the only one alone at my table ... again, a 17 year old's nightmare!
