Gave:
Brother: Turbo Tax Premium (it's what he asked for...)
Sister-In-Law: B&BW gift card (it's what she asked for)
16 y/o Nephew: New Orleans Saints cap
13 y/o Niece: Aeropostale gift card
5 y/o Nephew: Butterfly House (you send away for caterpillars and grow them through their stages until they emerge as butterflies.. my mom had gotten one for my kids years ago and they loved it, when my brother suggested that for Zane, I had to go with it!)
Dad: Golf balls (it's what he asked for)
Dad's wife: Barnes & Noble gift card
Son: The best monitor for gaming per MLG, with only 2 ms lag or something like that, some jeans, camo water bottle (one of those environmental metal ones)
Daughter: Her Droid phone, skirt, cardigan, dress, tights, tank top

My family gives lists, so it makes it quite easy to get exactly what they want and I'm thankful for that. I should mention that the nephews and niece are my sister-in-law's kids and I haven't met them yet (I've only met her once!).

I got: Sensual Amber stuff from B&BW (my fave), a gift card to JCPenney, which I used yesterday online to get several things (huge sale! yay!), and MukLuks slippers from my kids. My daughter really surprised me. She used a Macy's gift card that she had gotten when she returned a birthday present last year to buy my MukLuks since her dad is out of work. I have to say, they are the best slippers ever. I love them. And, I'm impressed by her selflessness. I'm so glad I got the gift card for JCPenney. I have lost 50 pounds since last Christmas and new clothes for me has been the lowest priority so a lot of my clothes are just falling off of me. I did some thrift shopping about a month ago and got some staples for clothing, but didn't quite have enough. It's funny, until I started wearing smaller clothes, nobody said anything about the weight loss, even though I had lost it all by August. Now that I'm wearing clothes that fit, everybody is saying something to me about how much weight I've lost. I want to lose another 40-50 pounds though, so I don't want to buy TOO many clothes either.

My dad sent me a check weeks ago to buy a family gift of a new computer. I used it to buy Christmas presents for everybody else, but will buy a new computer when I get my tax refund. I was going to be giving the kids IOUs for Christmas otherwise... money is tight this year.
