When I sprained my arm doing toe loops, my mom threatened to take my skates away.
She went NUTS, "You could've broken your arm, you could've hit your head, what if you'd died!!!" Honestly, you go throwing yourself into the air like a spinning top, you fall every now and again. Most times, the momentum makes you slide when you hit, so the impact distributes before it hurts.
