Seriously, if Joe Namath did it, it does work! I live in TX and yes it can get booty licking cold! And don't let the wind get to blowing!
But really, wearing a pair of hose under your jeans, it does work wonders! It's like having on a pair of warm jammies on under your pants.
Also, nobody is lying about the hats! Either wear a hoodie, a skull cap, or a hat or all three! Believe me! Don't forget the earmuffs if need be. Also get a pair of Thinsulate gloves. My Lord, My God, do they work wonders!!!!! If you have a Wally World near you (Wal-Mart) then you can get a pair for $5.00--look in the men's section.
It is all about layering. It's just like when you were a kid. It's easier to pull off when you're over hot than it is to put on and you don't have anything else to work with.
