And this, my friends, is why the philanthropy round SUCKS.

CASA is a great thing and helps untold numbers of children. Theta made a great choice in their association with it. I've thought that ever since I heard of it. But it's not something that you can make a quick craft for, or easily explain to PNMs whose heads are ready to pop off. It's a cause that needs, pretty much, MONEY - it's not like you can get all the rushees together and ask them all to give you a buck and once they're combined, another volunteer can be brought on. (Although it would be nice if you could.) And it's far from the only national philanthropy that has this issue.

And the thought of having people do the craft, then undoing it...it would be so much better if the round would just be showing a short film on CASA, then talking about it.

Sorry hon, I know this doesn't help you with your immediate problem, but this is so a case of "good on paper, not in practice" and I wish NPC would just own up and bag it already. If they really want to be of help, have the WHOLE Panhellenic community come together on Bid Day and help Habitat for Humanity...or sort & pack clothes for Dress for Success....etc etc etc.
