Ok sorry ive been gone for like forever but its exam week here....
ok well the second day of recruitment you can go to up to 5 houses. Its philanthropy day, u do a craft that goes to benefit the philanthropy. I meet with my gamma chi group and we were called out into the hall to get our schedule for the night. They were in alphabetical order, I was in the middle, and super nervous! Finally after about 5 girls I was called out in to the hall.
My night consisted of 4 houses...I was a little dissappointed with only having four but they were 4 of my favorites so I quickly got over, as I was quickly reminded that I was not alone in not having a "full" load and there were other girls who didnt even have my four. This also made me wish I had put the poodles as a number 1 because I would have been garanteed to see them.( ALthough I know this sounds dumb, because had i put poodles as 1...I would have released the beagles not the grey hounds,, but with nerves and stress I, and I think lots of other girls, always play the "what if" game.)
They were
pomeranian
akita
maltese
beagle

I was a little shocked I didnt get back asked back to grey hound as I rele felt a connection the first night and it was by far the least "recruitment like" conversation, but i tried not to let it get me down too much.

At pomeranian I was greeted by the president, who I had gone to high school with, and the girls in that house seemed so nice. I immediately felt the warmth I had felt in the summer there. I loved it and I was very glad I had choose to see them again. There project was a door hanger type thing, the only down fall I felt so intrigued in the project I felt like it was difficult to talk and do the craft at the same time. But every girl I talked to was super sweet and so easy to talk too. I felt a bit like I was playing catch up since I hadnt seen them the day before.

The next house was akita...again I felt extremely welcomed and like i could call this place home. There craft was decorating a stuffed animal with a necklace and clothing. It was much easier to talk and do their project than it was at pomeranian. The first girl I talked to, I had actually talked to the night before...We talked very easily as well as I did with every other girl I talked to that night.

Maltese: By far had the cutest costumes of the night and they were my favorite colors (always a plus!) we made boo boo bunnies that night, and although a very cute project it didnt take 2 minutes and the first girl that was talking to me really was not the easiest to talk to and we didnt have much in common and it seemed like forever before a "bumper" arrived. The conversation then got better, but this had me doubting a little how well id fit in here.

My last house beagle: Better conversation than the night before. We made flash cards with shiny stickers for their project. They were practical and cute but again took like 30 seconds. However, this meant more time to talk...the conversation went great. Until the girl I was talking to went to go show the movie about their philanthropy, leaving me sitting there alone . I thought this was a little odd, and very awkward but it was ok after she returned.

This night you were suppose to narrow down to 4. Therefor I rated all of mine 1, in no order, and was happy I didnt have to drop anyone because I wouldn't of had a clue. ALthough I was a little less sure of maltese I still loved them, and it was only one girl who I had a felt a little weird with, and as they were my favorite the previous night I was no where near ready to release them.
