The member in question had been hard to get ahold of this fall. Finally, she was able to attend our Holiday meeting last night so we surprised her with the ceremony. To OUR surprise, her Big Sis was present at our meeting as well and pinned her! The Big Sis hadn't actually attended a meeting in over a year due to poor health so this was fate. It was such an unbelievably sweet moment! They have stayed friends all these years. I, of course, took a picture and sent it to AOII HQ...how often does a Big Sis get to pin her Lil Sis at her 50th Anniversary?
