I think the story is kinda funny, and I tend to believe the TMZ story: she was pissed about the stories in the Enquirer that says he's been cheating, they fought, he ran out of the house and got in his car, she ran after him with the golf club and smashed out the windows, it startled him and he ran into the fire hydrant/tree. He had lacerations on his face, which I doubt would come from a golf club - more like broken glass. I bet there was something broken inside the house, maybe she threw a beer bottle at him or something?

This sounds more plausible than the "I broke the back window to rescue my man" story.
