For SigEp we have Renaissance Brothers. An RB is someone who has been a great help to the Fraternity for a long time and lives our principles in his daily life with or without our guidance. In order to become an RB, the man in question may have never been in another fraternity and must meet all other lifetime membership requirements as detailed in the Ritual.

Once we choose someone to become an RB, we inform him, of course, he makes his decision, and if he says he would like to become an RB, we put him through all stages of our Ritual and he becomes a fully initiated Renaissance Brother. Right now, we have one RB who works at the school that I personally know. The others were initiated long before I was in college and don't really have a reason to be around the school aside from alumni get togethers. Also, we would like to initiate on of our faculty advisors and the Greek Life/Athletics advisor, but both would like to wait until they retire in a few years.

ETA: Also, the potential RB must have never attended a school that had a SigEp chapter while he was in attendance.
