Go to your local quilt shop and ask to see their 30's fabric. These are mini-motif reproductions that are based on designs from the 1930s and there may be a symbol from your daughter's org. The motifs are small enough to be used in block letters.
The Clemson bookstore sells orange Vineyard Vines ties with a white paw repeat. VV also makes college logo boxers but I didn't see that on their bookstore website.
