Ballpark figures are sooo hard to throw out!

Each individual fraternity has its own set of expenses. If they have any of the following things, dues will increase =)

Parties
A home
Required residence at fraternity house (for the period that you are a resident)
Meal Plans
National Dues
Insurance

and many more. My chapter has several seperate fees and the amount of dues actually fluctuates with the financial burdens of the chapter. I know that dues of Sigma Nu chapters in my state range anywhere from $60 to $600 per month.

(to be fair, for the $600 you get a place to live and a meal plan =) )
