Man I wish someone had told me all the jobs and money were in health care.. I'd have gone that route for sure. Oh wait, I did. 13 years as an Occupational Therapist and now almost 10 years in IT for a health care system. No raises in two years, lost my retirement matching, lost two days off per year (lost 7 days in the last 9 years), paying more for benefits again, co-pays went up. In real dollars and counting benefits and vacation time, I make less now than I did the year I graduated. Why didn't I go into health care?? Oh yeah, I did.
