I am an active Alumna of my Local sorority. I pay dues to the Alumni Association. All I'm doing officially right now is serving on a committee planning our upcoming anniversary. I try to make it to the bid nights/ Alumni Weekends, the big events. I haven't been out of school long, so I'm still close with many of the actives, so I serve as an informal advisor sometimes. They come to me with issues; I try to help them out of refer them to someone who can help them. It has really eased the pain of missing college! While I am still able to help out and share in the enjoyment of sisterhood, I also often witness examples of why I'm glad to have graduated I want to be able to do more, maybe try to serve on the Alumni Board once my life is more settled.
